No, there is no expiration date on the Peel & Acids course.
This in-depth course talking about what peels are, benefits, how to use them, what Fitzpatricks are safe to use them on, pre/post what to think about, frosting & blanching, risks & rewards and more. It also includes a training manual that can be downloaded for future reference, along with patient Consent, Consultation, and Treatment forms. You will also receive advanced protocols giving you recommendations for different skin conditions and skin types. Please see the course overview above.
There are 18 chapters/modules in the course, each taking 20-40 minutes to complete.
You can take the quizzes until you have passed with 80%. You cannot retake the quiz after you pass.
No preparation is required. At the beginning of the online Peels & Acids course, you have the ability to download the training manual to help with the completion of the course and for future reference. This guide is all you need to complete the course. I strongly recommend that you download it before starting.
At this time the online course cannot be used towards CE credits.
A Certification of Completion will be issued in the name of the practitioner who completed the course. Please make sure that you check spelling and title when signing up as that is what the certificate will show. The certificate does not have to be renewed on a yearly basis.
The Certificate of Completion will be emailed to you within 1-3 days of completing the course. We do not have an option to mail certificates.
The Certification of Completion does NOT overrule the state board’s rules. Peels & Acids does not have any regulations in most states, but if you are uncertain, it is your responsibility as a practitioner to contact your state board to find out when license you would need.
You could train as many practitioners as you see fit, but only one can be certified with the purchase of one training course. Each practitioner must complete the course independently to receive their Certificate of Completion.
