ABOUT THE FOUNDER

I AM A STRAIGHTFORWARD NO-BS KIND OF PERSON AND BELIEVE THAT GREAT SKIN IS WITHIN YOUR REACH, EVEN IF YOU MIGHT NOT BELIEVE IT (YET).

Growing up in the beautiful countryside on a farm in Sweden, the oldest of 3 siblings, I wasn’t really destined to work in this specific field as I did not have anyone close to me specifically interested in skin or medical aesthetics. But I am and have always been goal-oriented and when I put my mind to something, it will get done one way or the other.

I moved halfway around the world to Los Angeles, when I was in my early 20s in 2004, without knowing anyone here, so you know I like a challenge. It was quite a change, from where I came from, but I liked it, as I am still here 20 years later with three aesthetic businesses.

I am a straightforward no-BS kind of person and believe that great skin is within your reach, even if you might not believe it (yet).

Internationally trained & over two decades of experience

I have been a professional in the beauty industry since 2000 but got interested in this long before then. I tackled my own skin issues, leading the way to what I do today. I am internationally trained at the CIDESCO School of Aesthetics in Stockholm, Sweden, and I also have a master’s in fashion, print, and beauty makeup.

With over two decades of experience in the aesthetic skin field, I have seen a lot. I have seen trends come and go and have a deep understanding of the industry and how it has evolved over time. This helps me establish myself as a trusted and respected expert in my field.

Experience working with plastic surgeons

I have worked with top plastic surgeons in surgery I have had the opportunity to take care of the patients before, during, and after their procedures. This helped me create new advanced skin and body treatment protocols to educate patients on tackling their skin issues and taking better care of their biggest organ – the skin. In the fast-paced and ever-changing world of the aesthetic skin field, having this kind of experience can be a significant advantage. I learn something new every day, which I love.

Understanding the skin's needs & concerns

When working with a diverse range of patients, each with unique needs and concerns, I understand clients’ needs, no matter their skin type. This helps me stand out in a crowded market and attract loyal patients who appreciate my expertise.
I have had opportunities to mentor and lead others in the field. Sharing my knowledge and expertise to help others grow and develop their skills, is very rewarding and fulfilling.

Knowledge & Thinking outside the box is key

Years of working in aesthetic offices, helping patients with their skin concerns, and taking tons of courses about skin, body, and wellness, I learned early in my career that you often need to think outside the box and take chances to get the best possible results. I believe knowledge is invaluable when it comes to making informed decisions and providing high-quality services in any field of business.

A Swede in Los Angeles

I still live in Los Angeles, with my hubby John, and our two fur babies Bradley Cooper (yes, you read correctly), and Lulu. Even if I go home to Sweden and visit my family regularly, Los Angeles is where I still live, the mecca of plastic surgery and home for individuals looking to improve their confidence and self-image through innovative cosmetic procedures. Where the flawless and youthful appearance is chased by almost everyone – I most definitely picked the right city for my profession.
